ACTION around for fourth wall!
[ LET'S JUST SAY that Bulma has been indoors a lot lately. Oh sure, there have been shopping trips, and attempts to drag Vegeta out to the actual restaurant with her, but mostly she's kept to her work (especially after the whole mistletoe fiasco). But once the mental scars begin to fade, she really just needs to get out of the house for a prolonged period of time.
How great is it that she has no idea that there's been an influx of new and strange people?
Regardless, she starts her day out at the Library. She bypasses the manga section completely to check out whatever she can find on relevant machinery, JUST to keep herself up to date. Not that there's a whole lot she isn't already knowledgeable in, but it kills a little time anyway.
Later she'll be out near the fountain with a small collection of tools and a coffee. She's bound and determined to take her journal apart to find out exactly how it works. Even though it appears to be a plain old book... And it seems to be totally impervious to any damage which is pretty damn frustrating.
SO IN THE END, she ends up in the bar, with a beer. WHY NOT? Everything is weird and frustrating, and surely someone she knows will show up there sooner or later. ]

action - library
All right, come on, where's the stuff on motorcycles?
no subject
[ That gets her to look up from her book. She does know a thing or two about motorcycles. ]
Oh hey, I know you! You're the one who's always testing Vegeta's short fuse, right?

[ Kirk looked over, squinting at Bulma a minute. It wasn't hard to place that she looked like Bulla, but her name escaped him or the relation. ]
Yeah, I guess that's what I do. He makes it so easy, you know?
no subject
[ But, Vegeta aside, she realizes she didn't really even get to know this guy all that well the one time she spoke to him. ]
Hey, what's your name? I'm Bulma, by the way. I don't think we had a proper introduction last time.
no subject
I don't think we did either. I'm James T. Kirk, but everyone just calls me Kirk. Nice to meet you again, Bulma.
So, what did you come to the library for?

And then he sees her. Knows that hair anywhere, doesn't matter how many times she changes it. She's definitely not his timeline mom, but not the prime timeline Bulma he was just with either. Older. Actually looking... Really okay. And tearing into something and yeah that's definitely mom.
He doesn't even realize how long he's been staring or that it'd be rude.]

Hey... Trunks.
[ At first, she wonders if something's wrong. Why is he just standing there, staring as if he hasn't seen her? But it doesn't take her long to notice his clothes, and the fact that he looks just a touch younger than the Trunks she sees every day in Luceti. Considering who both of his parents are though, it's no surprise that he looks nearly identical, even with ten years or so of age difference. ]
Trunks... You're--!
[ She tosses her journal down on the edge of the fountain, and rushes for him, wrapping him in a tight hug. ]

[If she's from further down the timeline than he is, then there wasn't any point to hiding it, right? He doesn't think so. It takes a few seconds for the shock to wane and he hugs her nervously. His shoulders gradually lower as the tension and anxiousness leaves him. Everything really does turn out okay. Everyone's safe, the world is saved, this right here is the proof.]
So you're here too.
